Following the very successful 2007 Mayors Ball, I am now looking forward to hosting another evening of wonderful food and great entertainment.

 

This year the event will take place in the Five Star Solis Lough Eske Castle Hotel, the most recent addition to our excellent selection of first class Hotels in the Donegal Town area.

 

It is my intention to donate the proceeds of this year’s Ball once again to the proposed Community Enterprise Centre at Lurganboy, which is now at an advanced stage in the planning process. A total of €50,000 must be raised locally in order to secure funding. In the current climate it is now more important than ever that this project is completed in the hope that it will become the catalyst to generate future sustainable enterprise and employment in Donegal Town and the surrounding area.
