The Pier will be transformed into a tourism exhibition centre for the weekend. Our tented village will house exhibitors showcasing all that Donegal has to offer the discerning visitor. The best of Donegal style will be on display with lots of clothing and jewellery, along with designers, artists and manufacturers of great local crafts.There will be guides to some of the best accommodation available in Donegal,along with some great restaurants, cafes and food retailers.We will be showing you what activities there are to do in Donegal for all ages, along with guides to local festivals and events.There will be information services there supporting Donegal Tourism and we will be showing you just how easy it is to get to Donegal and once you are there, how to get around the county.We will also have plenty of live entertainment at the pier to suit all ages throughout the weekend,lots of music, dancing, fencing displays, pottery and bodhrán demonstrations.And for the little ones we will have face painting, storytelling, a puppet show and the fabulous Fanzini Brothers.

2008 X-Factor Winner Alexandra Burke just confirmed as Headline Act for Donegal Live. Tickets will be on sale Sunday 15th April 2012 from 12.00pm - 6.00pm. Venue to be announced soon.

Donegal Live, will be coming home to County Donegal in 2012. This event will take place from Friday 25th – Sunday 27th of May in Donegal Town. 

 

Donegal Town Community Chamber in association with Fáilte Ireland, Donegal Tourism and the Donegal Association are proud to have been selected to host this major tourism promotional event, which took place in Dublin’s Temple Bar, The Iveagh Gardens and Glasgow over the last two years and which highlighted all that County Donegal has to offer tourists from both home and abroad.

Donegal Town will be transformed into a Tourism Exhibition Centre, with Live Music Concerts from National and International Bands on the Diamond area. Our tented village on the Pier will house exhibitors showcasing all that the county has to offer the discerning visitor.
