Country Music Mania Hits the Abbey Hotel

On Wednesday Night 18th of November, The Abbey Hotel in Donegal Town will play host to one of Ireland’s Biggest ever Country Nights.

The event which is run in conjunction with the Face of Ireland Competition National Finals will showcase some of Ireland’s biggest country names on the scene on one night and is guaranteed to be a sold out show.

Just some of the confirmed artistes to date that will appear on the night include, Declan Nerney and his band, Louise Morrissey, Philomena Begley, Ray Lynam,  Hugo Duncan, Kathy Durkin, Trudi Lalor, Fiddler Adam,  John Farry and one very special guest with more artistes yet to confirm.

Speaking ahead of the show Brian Cunningham told the Donegal Democrat that this promises to be an unforgettable evening of country music. I have been organising country nights for years but this line up is our best yet with more acts to be added for the event.

The finalists in this years Face of Ireland show will also be introduced to the audience and will be made part of the show.

Tickets are now on sale priced at €30 and people are being informed to get their tickets as early as possible if they are attending the event as it will be a sold out show. Doors will open at 7.30pm with show commencing at 8pm sharp. There will be an auction and raffle on the night. Comperes on the evening will be Brian Cunningham and Marion Fitzgerald and the event will be recorded for a television production on Ireland’s New Face.
